EXCERPT FROM THE CHRONICLES OF TRYTERRA: Founder’s Day
“You know, it’s interesting”, a raspy voice observed from somewhere beyond his clenched eyelids. “…if you really think about it.”
Mygel felt warm fingertips that smelled of old, acrid tobacco smoke press into his eyelids, forcing them open. He couldn’t quite focus his sight on the dark-skinned man that stared down at him. The man’s face was hidden by the shadow of a deep purple hood and wreathed by a salt and pepper beard and dreadlocks.
“’Two paths diverged in the wood…’”, he said smugly, as if sharing some private joke with himself. “Two paths”, he continued, “running side by side, but both headed to this very spot.”
His head lifted almost imperceptibly, and though his eyes were hidden, Mygel sensed them flit back and forth, taking in every detail of the scene before the last of day’s light died out. “Every one of your associates who took the right path…”, he added, pointing, “…died horribly. Quickly…but horribly nonetheless.”
“But the ones like you? The ones who took the left path?”, the hooded man said, rising like a specter draped in a purple duster. “Most of them would have probably lived…had we made the effort to check on them.”
He tilted his head, silently staring at Mygel for a moment.
“…So, it IS interesting, don’t you think?”, the man continued. “You, here, alive. All because your horse broke left instead of right.”
He slowly crouched, face hovering above Mygel’s, and said “your next words may change that…”

Lightkeeper press proudly presents:
The Chronicles of Tryterra: Founder’s Day
back cover copy excerpt:
“Amara Paganus, whether she knew it or not, had always been the heart of her family.
Now, on the cusp of her ordination into the bureaucratic theocracy known as the Orders Librum, Amara is poised to become the heart of Hemanria as well.
When a secret cabal launches a devastating attack against the community to undermine the authority of the Orders, it falls to Amara, her brother, Huzair, the halfling Crevena, and a rag tag band of dysfunctional allies to reestablish peace.
But with Amara’s life and soul in the balance and Huzair and Crevena at cross purposes, will the others be able to work together long enough to expose the conspiracy before it reignites a conflict that would plunge the entire continent of Eastern Sunderlan into a war to end all wars?
The debut novel by George L. Stewart, The Chronicles of Tryterra: Founder’s Day is the first entry into the Ebonriver Trilogy, a surrealist psychological dark fantasy series set in a world of gods, monsters, and magic.”
Stay tuned for more updates, more excerpts, release dates, and where (else) to find it!

Delay of Merch Store launch
Hey all
This is sort of a good news/bad news situation here. The good news there is some cool Lightkeeper Press merch designed and ready to sell. The bad news is there’s some final touches for setting up the site’s store that we won’t have time to get to for a couple of weeks.
Our priority here is making sure the book is ready for release. If we can get everything up and running sooner rather than later that will be great. For now, it’s probably more likely the store won’t launch until after the upcoming book title announcement, mid to late October.
Thank you for your understanding and patience.
Welcome to the update page!

Hi!
So far, we just have a presence and on our Facebook page (link at the top of the page). Within the next week or so, that will be changing so stay tuned!
We’re still working the bugs out of our suscriber list and notifications. Definitely sign up for those and please let us know if they’re not working properly.
As you should be able to see above, we have a merch store up and ready. We know you’re here for the books, but every little bit helps to keep the ball rolling.
And, coming sometime before the end of October, the book title announcement is on its way.
Talk to you more soon!
